Ready to start looking for your new best friend?!!
The first step in setting up an adoption meeting is for you to fill out the application to adopt!
We are a foster based rescue all visits are by appointment only
The link below will take you directly to our online application
FOR DOG'S
FOR CAT'S
Files coming soon.
If your considering adoption the first step would be to fill out the application. Once approved we're happy to put you in touch with the foster family of the pet your interested in. If all goes well and you both feel it may be a good fit the next step is visiting. Each pet is treated as an individual so the adoption requirements will depend on a specific pets needs rather than a general rule, like a fenced yard, no kids, etc... We look for the home that best fits not necessarily the first to apply.
Adoption fees vary and are posted in the pets listing. All dogs / cats are vetted before going home. This includes being current on vaccinations, spay / neuter, micro chip, heartworm test, FeLV/FIV, health certificate, treating any known medical conditions. While in our care all pets are wormed on a regular basis and receive flea / tic & heartworm preventatives.
We do not cover any vetting or costs after adoption. All pets are adopted as is for companion animals only. We do not evaluate for service or therapy needs. We release any know information we have on the dog as far as health or behavior but there is always the possibility that issues can arise after bringing a pet home that were not apparent at the time of adoption.
We require an approve application be on file before scheduling visits. We allow 24 hrs after the visit for a final decision on adoption before moving on to the next applicant. We have a no hold policy for any pet fully vetted and ready to go home. We have a waiting list for pups & kittens and will give priority to those on the list before accepting new applications. ALL dogs / cats will be altered no exceptions. If a dog is not ready to go home at the time of the visit we will require a hold deposit be place to secure the adoption until they can be released to their adopters.
Have you adopted with us? We love to share updates on our past pets! Of course we will not post any pics sent to us without your permission.
Things in rescue are always changing so while we grow and move forward we will try our best to update information as quickly as possible. If we haven't answered all of your questions here please go to the contact page and send us a message. We're happy to talk more.

Meet Jesse, a senior standard poodles who recently came into our rescue from a local family. This is a male about 9- 10 years old, 60 lbs, fully vetted, friendly. with people and other dogs
Good Morning FB friends! Today we're going to update you on the litter of girls that arrived Saturday. This one is Miley, she's just so adorable! She's about 4 months old 25 lbs and ready to meet potential new families.
Draven, he’s a little smaller than his siblings around 20 lbs. He’s a sweet, happy boy, who would do well in pretty much any home environment. As with the others and the entire litter, we are working on crate training, housebreaking, lease training. He’s not quite there yet, but he’s close!
Hank. He also has a brindle coat, short hair. This pup is a big boy, around 30 lbs, 4 mths old. He thinks his leash is a chew toy so we have to work on that. He’s pretty close to housebroken does fine in a crate at night and is very people friendly. He is fine with other dogs and children we have not introduced him to cats.
We still have a couple of older small dogs in care, this one is Cricket. He’s a Chihuahua about 7 yrs old, 8 lbs. Cricket is OK with the other dogs, but he does like to guard his food a bit. He can be vocal at times, he likes attention, but he tends to growl when you pet him or pick him up. He has never tried to nip or bite. He needs a quiet adult only home. While he has been around kids, cats and other dogs. He may want to be the only pet in the home. Cricket is fully vetted and ready to meet.
This is Dora, she just wanted to say hello and let everyone know she is still looking for her perfect home. She is very sweet, good with other dogs, though she tends to be skittish so teenagers or older will be best for her. She's come a long way since arriving, about a year ago, but still needs a bit more people interaction to feel comfortable. She is fully vetted with no known health issues. Dora is about 5 yrs old 25 lbs, mixed breed, brown / white.
Franny has been in care for several months. She takes a while to trust you. She is a sweet girl when she gets to know you. Shows no aggression towards people or other dogs. she’s going to need a quiet home with no children. she’s gonna need a household that will let her take her time to come out of her shell and work with her
He does not like anything going over his head, he was terrified of being groomed, not really letting us near his face or neck. can be a nervous little guy. That said he is also very sweet and in the right home will be a great companion. Winston is about 2 years old 10 - 12 pounds, paperwork has him listed as a Tibetan terrier mix. His perfect home would be an adult only, quiet place he can feel comfortable. He has been OK with the other dogs here though would probably be best as an only dog.
Cokki hasn’t made a sound since arriving. She pays no attention to the other dogs, she’s very timid, but she loves belly rubs. Her paperwork simply has her listed as a mixed breed, possibly Papillion, Pomeranian, Chihuahua?? Whatever she is, she’s a gorgeous little lady in need of a calm, quiet adult only home. She is listed as about 7 yrs old 7 lbs.
Meet Moscu, he recently came to us from a shelter in NYC where his previous owner surrendered him due to behavior issues. He does have some resource guarding issues and is reported to not like children. We have only introduced from a distance to other pets and kids. Recently he meet an unknown adult and did great. We have been working with him.

This green eyed beauty will soon be ready for adoption but right now she’s in need of a foster home. We’ve named her Esmeralda, she seeks attention though can be a bit shy at first. She came to us locally after losing her home. She seems ok with kids and dogs, she was previously living with both, as well as other cats.
Mr Jones is in need of a home. We thought he had an adopter but sadly it didn't work out. We'll post new pics soon. He is about 2 yrs old, independent but friendly. He came to us after his original owner passed away. He was an indoor / outdoor cat there, with dogs and other cats in the home
